Easterlies to bring scattered rain showers to eastern Philippines

The easterlies are expected to bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to the eastern parts of the Philippines on Sunday, according to PAGASA.

Davao Region may experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Caraga, Eastern Visayas, Bicol, Quezon, and Aurora can anticipate partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the same weather system.

The rest of the country will also experience isolated rain showers or thunderstorms brought by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA cautioned that severe thunderstorms could lead to flash floods or landslides.

No tropical cyclones or low pressure areas are currently being monitored by the weather bureau within or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Winds across the archipelago will be light to moderate, with slight to moderate sea conditions.
