Easterlies, amihan to bring rains across PH

Easterlies and the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) are expected to bring cloudy and wet weather across the Philippines.

Light rains are forecast for Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Apayao due to the amihan, with no significant impact expected.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience isolated rain showers.

Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated showers or thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides are possible in Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao during severe thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

No typhoons or low-pressure areas are currently spotted within or outside the Philippine area of responsibility.
