Duterte hails fallen doctors as heroes in COVID-19 fight

At least five doctors have died after contracting COVID-19, and hundreds of other medical professionals were forced into quarantine due to possible exposure.

He urged public servants to work together with integrity, accountability, and responsiveness to combat the "common enemy" of COVID-19.

The government is reinforcing the Department of Health's containment efforts through the National Action Plan.

Duterte appealed for the public's patience, understanding, and cooperation with quarantine regulations, expressing confidence in the Filipino spirit to overcome the challenges.
