Duterte and Go willing to get vaccinated publicly

Senator "Bong" Go announced that he and President Duterte are willing to get vaccinated in public to demonstrate that vaccination is the only hope against COVID-19.

President Duterte stated he will wait for his physician's advice on which vaccine brand he will take, considering his age and the current protocol for Sinovac vaccines.

Duterte criticized Vice President Leni Robredo for urging him to get inoculated, calling it a "bait" and accusing her of trying to be "relevant" by issuing statements for headlines.

The Presidential Security Group (PSG) admitted to vaccinating some of its members in September and October 2020.

Duterte maintained that Sinovac vaccines, although safe and effective, are not recommended for senior citizens due to their lower efficacy.

He assured the public that he will eventually get vaccinated with his preferred brand to show it is safe and effective.
