The DSWD, with assistance from the Philippine National Police (PNP), is preparing for the second phase of SAP distribution, which will be directly managed by the DSWD without downloading funds to LGUs.

The DILG emphasized that LGUs must complete their liquidation and beneficiary list submission for the first tranche before the second tranche can proceed.
