DPWH fires Bulacan engineer over P55-million ghost project; charges next
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Vince Dizon has dismissed Bulacan First District Engineer Henry Alcantara following an inspection of a supposed flood control project.

Dizon has announced that charges will be filed against Alcantara next week.
Assistant District Engineer Brice Ericson Hernandez and former Construction Section head Engineer Jaypee Mendoza are also facing dismissal.
The contractor, Wawao Builders, along with Syms Construction Trading, will be perpetually blacklisted.
