Ardina explains uniform issues at Paris Olympics

Filipina golfer Dottie Ardina has clarified issues surrounding her and teammate Bianca Pagdanganan's uniforms at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Ardina stated that the provided competition shirts did not arrive, and the alternatives were either ill-fitting or non-compliant with IOC rules.

She explained that replacement shirts also had fit issues, prompting her to wear her own purchased apparel on the final day while Pagdanganan used the last available option.

Ardina publicly shared her concerns, highlighting the "embarrassing" situation where she had to attach a Philippine flag patch to her store-bought shirt using double-sided tape.

She decided to speak out not only for herself but also for future Filipino Olympians, hoping for a better experience for them.

Ardina finished 13th in the competition, while Pagdanganan tied for 4th, contending for a bronze medal.
