The Department of Transportation (DOTr) has revoked the licenses of three GV Florida Transport, Inc. drivers following a viral video showing six of their buses allegedly racing on a national highway in Cagayan.
DOTr Secretary Vince Dizon stated that the Land Transportation Office (LTO) enforced the license revocation against the three drivers.
However, GV Florida Transport has yet to present the three other drivers involved in the incident.
Dizon warned that heavier penalties will be imposed on the company if they do not present the remaining drivers.
The company's 15 buses were previously suspended for 30 days following the incident, which occurred on June 8.
The suspended buses ply the routes of Sta. Ana to Sampaloc in Cagayan and from Baguio City to Apayao.
