DOLE expedites assistance to workers
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) aims to assist a total of 715,000 workers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
As of April 3, the DOLE had distributed PHP600 million in cash assistance to nearly 200,000 workers.
This includes PHP514 million disbursed to 102,855 formal workers under the COVID-19 Adjustment Measures Program (CAMP).

An agreement with Land Bank will facilitate the expeditious release and remittance of funds nationwide through branches and ATMs.
The DOLE is also seeking approval for additional funding to aid stranded or repatriated Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
