DOH reports 1,841 new COVID-19 cases

The DoH also announced 311 additional recoveries, increasing the total to 21,748, and 17 new deaths, for a total of 1,660 fatalities.

As of July 16, a total of 1,009,511 individual COVID-19 tests have been conducted across the country.

Out of the country's 1,661 intensive care unit (ICU) beds, 685 or 41.2 percent are currently occupied, indicating sufficient capacity to care for the infected.
