DOH reports 166 new Covid-19 recoveries, 4,437 new cases

The country's total Covid-19 recoveries have reached 560,736 with 166 new recoveries reported by the DOH.

The DOH also reported 4,437 new confirmed cases and 11 new deaths, bringing the total active cases to 57,736 and the death toll to 12,848.

The new recovery figure represents 88.8 percent of all individuals who have contracted the virus.

Among the active cases, 92.6 percent are mild, 4 percent asymptomatic, 1.3 percent severe, 0.68 percent moderate, and 1.3 percent critical.

The DOH noted that 10 duplicates were removed from the total case count, and three recovered cases were removed, while four cases previously tagged as recovered were reclassified as deaths.

Available ICU beds are at 53 percent capacity, isolation beds at 61 percent, and ward beds at 69 percent.
