DOH, NTF launch vaccine program in drugstores

The Department of Health (DOH) and the National Task Force (NTF) Against COVID-19 have launched "Resbakuna sa Botika" in selected drug stores and clinics to improve vaccine accessibility.

The program offers booster shots for individuals 18 years old and above in participating pharmacies and primary doses in clinics.

The pilot implementation started on January 20 and 21 in five establishments across Metro Manila.

Participating establishments include Generika Drugstore, Mercury Drug, Southstar Drug, TGP, and Watsons.

The government plans to expand the program nationwide by mid-February, following an evaluation of the pilot rollout.
