Admitted PUIs for Covid-19 down to 230: DOH
The Department of Health (DOH) reported a total of 441 persons under investigation (PUIs) for possible novel coronavirus infection in the Philippines as of Thursday morning.
Of the total PUIs, 230 are currently admitted in hospitals, a decrease from 238 the previous day.
Meanwhile, about 208 PUIs have been discharged after testing negative for the virus in two consecutive medical examinations.
The Philippines has had three confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus; two have recovered and one has died.
Metro Manila has the highest number of current PUIs admitted in hospitals with 80 cases, followed by Central Visayas with 35, and Central Luzon with 29.
Most of the PUIs are Filipinos, but foreigners from China, the US, Japan, and Europe are also under investigation.
