DOH: 293,075 Covid-19 recoveries nationwide, 2,502 new cases

A total of 293,075 recoveries from Covid-19 were reported nationwide as of Sunday, October 11, 2020, with an additional 17,057 new recovered cases.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 2,502 new confirmed cases, bringing the total active cases to 39,945.

Of the active cases, 83 percent are mild, 11.2 percent are asymptomatic, 1.8 percent are severe, and 3.9 percent are in critical condition.

The majority of new infections were in the National Capital Region (NCR), followed by Rizal, Laguna, Cavite, and Bulacan.

The country's Covid-19 death toll increased to 6,321 with 83 new deaths reported.

A total of 3,876,311 tests have been conducted nationwide by 110 licensed RT-PCR laboratories and 35 licensed GeneXpert laboratories.
