La Salle nails Filoil quarterfinals berth with undefeated record

De La Salle University secured a spot in the 18th Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup quarterfinals with an undefeated 4-0 record after defeating Far Eastern University 90-66.

Key players Kean Baclaan and Mike Phillips were instrumental in a second-quarter run that established a significant lead for the Green Archers.

Baclaan contributed 14 points, four rebounds, and three assists, while Phillips added 10 points, nine boards, and three dimes.

Rookie Dom Sarmiento also made a notable contribution with nine points, all from three-point range.

Head coach Topex Robinson emphasized the team's focus on roles, readiness, and playing for each other.

La Salle's victory also ensured a quarterfinal spot for the University of the Philippines.
