DigiPlus Interactive Corp., operator of BingoPlus, ArenaPlus, and GameZone, has partnered with Philippine First Insurance Co. Inc. (PhilFirst) to launch the country's first surety bond program for online gaming players.

This new program, effective immediately, offers eligible players financial safeguards for their account balances up to P1 million per player.

To be eligible, players must be verified, have made at least one successful deposit, and be in good standing with the platform's requirements.

Players' electronic Know-Your-Customer (eKYC) information must be current, and they must adhere to platform guidelines.

The surety bond protects player balances without requiring customers to purchase a separate policy.
