DFA suspends passport, other consular services from Tuesday until further notice
All Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) consular offices in Luzon have temporarily suspended operations starting March 17, 2020, until further notice, in line with the enhanced community quarantine.
In the Visayas and Mindanao, DFA offices will operate with a lean staff, prioritizing urgent consular needs such as those of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and individuals with medical emergencies, also starting March 17 until further notice.
The DFA's Office of Consular Affairs in Aseana, Parañaque City, is included in the suspension of operations.
Passport applicants with confirmed appointments will be accommodated once operations resume.
