382 OFWs repatriated from UAE -DFA
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) successfully repatriated 382 distressed Filipinos from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) via a chartered Cebu Pacific flight.
This flight was the eighth chartered flight organized by the DFA since June, bringing the total number of Filipinos repatriated from the UAE to 4,106.
Among the repatriates were seven pregnant women who arrived in Davao and were assisted by various government agencies and local representatives.
Each repatriate received USD200 (PHP10,000) in reintegration assistance from the DFA.
All passengers tested negative for COVID-19 via RT-PCR tests before boarding and will undergo mandatory quarantine and further testing upon arrival.
