Defense Sec Teodoro lauds Army's 10th ID for peace efforts in Davao de Oro

Defense Secretary Gilberto Teodoro lauded the Army's 10th Infantry Division for their peace and security efforts during a visit to their headquarters in Davao de Oro.

The 10th Infantry Division assured Secretary Teodoro of their commitment to the Department of National Defense's Comprehensive Archipelagic Defense Operations (CADO) Program.

This program aims to enhance the Armed Forces' tactical capabilities and promote community-based peacebuilding.

Teodoro acknowledged the division's successful coordination with local government units for multisectoral initiatives that have weakened the New People's Army in remote areas.

He also highlighted the importance of collaboration with local governments, indigenous communities, and former NPA members in fostering peace and security.
