Davao police files 267 cases vs. quarantine violators
The Davao City Police Office (DCPO) has filed 267 complaints against individuals violating the enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) measures.
These complaints stem from 340 apprehensions, including 247 for curfew violations, 40 for defying the liquor ban, and 60 for not observing social distancing or for participating in mass gatherings.
DCPO Chief Police Colonel Kirby John Kraft appealed to citizens for cooperation by reporting quarantine violators to help enforce the ECQ.
Mayor Sara Duterte also urged residents to report violators to the COVID-19 Operations Center or other law enforcement agencies.
