Danny Seigle honored to be part of PBA's 50 Greatest Players

San Miguel legend Danny Seigle expressed his privilege and honor at being included in the PBA's 50 Greatest Players list during the league's golden anniversary celebration.

Seigle, an eight-time PBA champion and four-time Finals MVP, was formally welcomed to the elite roster alongside other notable players.

He felt especially honored to be named among contemporaries like eight-time MVP June Mar Fajardo, whom he considers the "GOAT", and Jeff Cariaso, a mentor and his dad's favorite player.

Fellow Beermen icon Danny Ildefonso shared his happiness, stating that Seigle and Nelson Asaytono were "finally" included and are truly deserving of the recognition.

Seigle admitted he was hoping and praying to be included, and while aware of conversations about him not making the top 40, he is happy to be recognized in the present.

Ildefonso and Seigle, former frontcourt partners for San Miguel, reunited at the induction ceremony held at the Solaire Resort North in Quezon City.
