Ex-Customs officer, idinawit sina Paolo Duterte, Mans Carpio at Yang, sa shabu shipment noong 2018

Paolo Duterte, Vice President Sara Duterte's husband Mans Carpio, and former presidential economic adviser Michael Yang.
Guban, who is currently detained for his alleged involvement in the drug shipment, claimed a Customs officer told him not to be afraid as Duterte, Carpio, and Yang owned the shipment.
Michael Yang's lawyer, Raymond Fortun, stated that the allegation against his client is "hearsay in nature."
Fortun also noted that Guban has made contradictory statements under oath in the past, and the Supreme Court has viewed retractions of testimony unfavorably.
