Creamline defeats Chery Tiggo in four sets

Creamline secured their second victory in the 2024 PVL Reinforced Conference by defeating Chery Tiggo in four sets at PhilSports Arena.

Despite missing key players like Tots Carlos and Alyssa Valdez, Creamline emerged victorious with contributions from American reinforcement Erica Staunton (21 points), Michele Gumabao (17 points), and Bea de Leon (12 points).

Bernadeth Pons was named Player of the Game, leading Creamline's offense with a conference-best 25 points and 23 excellent receptions.

Pons stated that her motivation for the game was to improve upon her previous performance where she scored only nine points.

Chery Tiggo was also shorthanded, playing without national team standouts Eya Laure and Jen Nierva, and EJ Laure.

The Cool Smashers overcame a 31-point effort by Crossovers reinforcement Khat Bell.
