Creamline defeats Galeries Tower in four sets

Creamline secured its third consecutive victory in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference by defeating Galeries Tower in a four-set match with scores of 27-25, 26-28, 29-27, and 25-19.

American reinforcement Erica Staunton led Creamline with 29 points, including 25 attacks and three aces, while Bernadeth Pons contributed 26 points from 21 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

Staunton acknowledged Galeries' strong defense, stating, "Their defense was insane," and emphasized the need for Creamline to "stay aggressive and trust our system" while minimizing errors.

Despite the win, Creamline committed 30 errors compared to Galeries Tower's 22.

Michele Gumabao added nine points, and rookie Aleiah Torres debuted with seven excellent receptions and one dig.

Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses expressed happiness with the win despite it not being easy, noting that "You cannot count any team out" and highlighting the preparation for Torres's first game.
