COVID-19 recoveries in PH reach 524,042

As of Thursday, February 25, 2021, the Philippines has recorded 524,042 COVID-19 recoveries, with 738 new recoveries reported.

This brings the national recovery rate to 92.2% of all confirmed cases.

The DOH also reported 2,269 new confirmed cases, increasing the total active cases to 32,437.

The country's death toll from COVID-19 has risen to 12,201 with 72 new fatalities.

Of the active cases, 88.5% are mild, 6.1% are asymptomatic, 2.3% are severe, 0.78% are moderate, and 2.4% are in critical condition.

The DOH provided an update on bed capacity for COVID-19 patients, noting that 60 percent of ICU beds, 67 percent of isolation beds, and 78 percent of ward beds remain available.
