Stockton drops 33 as Converge routs NorthPort

Converge secured a dominant 111-92 victory over NorthPort, handing the Batang Pier their fifth consecutive loss in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup.

Alec Stockton bounced back from a disappointing performance with a conference-high 33 points, leading the FiberXers to their fifth win in eight games.

Stockton, who also had 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals, scored 13 points in the second quarter to help Converge establish a 50-40 halftime lead.

Justin Arana contributed a double-double with 18 points and 14 rebounds, while Schonny Winston added 22 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Justine Baltazar also recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds for Converge.

Joshua Munzon paced NorthPort with 23 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists, as the team fell to a 1-5 record without Arvin Tolentino.

Converge's lead grew to as large as 23 points in the latter stages of the game.
