Ginebra downs Phoenix Fuel Masters for second straight win

Barangay Ginebra secured their second consecutive victory in the PBA Philippine Cup, defeating Phoenix 119-112 to improve their record to 4-2.

RJ Abarrientos led Ginebra with a team-high 25 points, while Japeth Aguilar contributed 24 points.

Scottie Thompson had a strong all-around performance with 17 points and a game-high 13 assists, complemented by Stephen Holt's 18 points and Jamie Malonzo's 15 points.

The Gin Kings controlled the game for most of the match, even building a significant lead of 22 points.

Despite a late scoring surge by Phoenix, Ginebra maintained their lead to secure the win.

Ginebra showcased an efficient offensive performance, shooting 59% from the field and 57% from three-point range, with 33 of their field goals being assisted.
