Major malls to host voting precincts for 2025 midterm elections

Several major malls across the Philippines will serve as voting precincts for the 2025 midterm elections, part of the Commission on Elections' (Comelec) mall voting program.

Participating malls include those owned by Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, Robinsons Land, and SM Supermalls, with specific locations like Festive Walk Iloilo, Eastwood Mall Atrium, and Broadway Centrum being utilized.

The program aims to provide a comfortable voting environment, particularly for persons with disabilities, senior citizens, and pregnant women.

One mall in the City of Manila is set up to accommodate nearly 700 registered voters from Barangay 659.

Voting precincts inside malls will feature an express lane for vulnerable sectors and designated areas for media and poll watchers.

Special voting hours from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. are allocated for senior citizens, persons with disability, and pregnant women.

Regular voting hours for all other registered voters will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with voting machines provided for each precinct within the malls.
