Over 68 million voters to troop to polls for Eleksyon 2025

Over 68 million registered voters are expected to participate in the Eleksyon 2025 national and local elections, choosing from 18,320 available positions.

Voting hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with early voting from 5 a.m. for senior citizens, pregnant women, and persons with disabilities.

The total number of registered voters is 69,673,655, including 68,431,965 in the Philippines and 1,241,690 overseas.

Overseas voters cast their ballots from April 13 to May 12, while local absentee voting occurred from April 28 to 30.

May 12 has been declared a special non-working holiday by Malacañang to allow citizens to vote.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has implemented strict security measures to ensure a safe and peaceful election.
