Comelec probes contractors over alleged illegal donations to 2022 candidates

Comelec is investigating four contractors suspected of making illegal donations to national candidates, including senators and party-lists, during the 2022 elections.

At least one contractor under Comelec scrutiny, Centerways Construction and Development Inc., has been linked to Senate President Francis 'Chiz' Escudero's 2022 campaign.
