Comelec probing 55 contractors over poll donations
The Commission on Elections (Comelec) is investigating 55 contractors for alleged illegal campaign donations made during the Eleksyon 2022.

A representative for Lawrence Lubiano, president of Centerways Construction and Development Inc., appeared before the Comelec to explain Lubiano's donation to Senator Francis Escudero's campaign.
Senator Escudero will be summoned by the Comelec as part of the investigation.
