Comelec inspects election media server at UST

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) inspected its media server at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila, where election results will be transmitted on May 9.

Commissioner Marlon Casquejo stated that the media server will allow media, political parties, and accredited citizens' arms to access counted votes.

This year, ten major political parties have been added to the entities that can receive results, an expansion from the 2019 elections where only media, KBP, and dominant parties were included.

The media server is connected to the Comelec's transparency server in Parañaque City.

Additionally, Comelec maintains a backup server in Libis, Quezon City, and its main server in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig City.
