Comelec distributes election equipment to Davao region offices

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) confirmed that election equipment, including Starlink devices, solar panels, and batteries, have been distributed to Comelec offices in the Davao region.

The equipment was previously held in a staging area in Barangay Buhangin, Davao City, which served as a temporary hub for the transmission service provider iOne Resources Joint Venture (iOne JV).

The Davao del Norte provincial election supervisor received 53 Starlink units, 56 solar panels, and 56 batteries.

The remaining equipment is expected to be delivered to other Comelec offices in the Davao region by April 7.

Additionally, the provincial election supervisor of Zamboanga del Sur received 23 sets of Starlink allocations.

In the Cordillera Administrative Region, Starlink sets for Mountain Province are temporarily stocked in Baguio City, while those for Benguet have been received by the local Office for Election Officer.
