Comelec launches 24/7 support center for Eleksyon 2025

The Commission on Elections (Comelec) launched the National Technical Support Center (NTSC) to handle inquiries and issues for Eleksyon 2025.

The NTSC, described as the agency's 'nerve center', will be operational 24 hours a day with multiple shifts and aims to answer calls within five seconds.

At least 900 personnel have been hired to provide technical and non-technical support at the NTSC.

The facility will receive calls from precincts, schools, canvassing centers, and Comelec repair hubs nationwide.

It will also monitor the online voting and counting system for overseas voters, for whom at least 36,000 have enrolled in the pre-voting system.

For the May polls, there are a total of 69.6 million registered voters, with 68.4 million residing in the Philippines and 1.2 million overseas.
