Class suspensions declared in several PH areas for World Teachers' Day

Several areas in the Philippines have declared class suspensions on Friday, October 4, to celebrate World Teachers' Day.

These suspensions cover various levels, from daycare to college, and apply to both public and private institutions in affected localities.

Specific locations like Victoria and Concepcion in Tarlac, along with Barugo in Leyte, have suspended classes for all levels in both public and private schools.

Manila has suspended classes for public schools, including daycare to high school levels, as well as at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Universidad de Manila.

Makati City has suspended classes for public elementary to college levels.

Magalang, Pampanga, has announced suspensions for public schools only.

World Teachers' Day is observed annually on October 5 to honor teachers and commemorate a significant international recommendation concerning their rights and responsibilities.
