Cignal HD Spikers score second straight win in PVL

Cignal HD Spikers secured their second consecutive victory in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference by defeating Chery Tiggo Crossovers in four sets.

The HD Spikers, with a 2-0 record, now share the early lead with PLDT and Akari, while Chery Tiggo suffered their first loss after an opening win.

Key players for Cignal included Ces Molina with 13 points, Vanie Gandler and Ria Meneses with 12 points each, and setter Gel Cayuna who recorded 20 excellent sets.

Libero Dawn Macandili-Catindig was named Player of the Match for her exceptional defensive performance, tallying 23 digs.

Despite trailing in the fourth set, Cignal staged a comeback fueled by Judith Abil's crucial serves, which led to a seven-point rally and their eventual victory.

Coach Shaq delos Santos acknowledged that the team is still improving but expressed satisfaction with their ability to recover and survive challenging situations.
