Choco Mucho defeats Cignal in four sets without import

Choco Mucho defeated Cignal in four sets with an all-Filipino lineup, winning 23-25, 25-19, 25-16, 27-25 in their opening game of the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference.

The Flying Titans secured the victory despite the absence of their import Anyse Smith, whose papers are still being processed.

Maddie Madayag led Choco Mucho with 18 points, including 6 blocks and the game-winning ace, while Thang Ponce provided solid defensive support with 32 digs and 20 excellent receptions.

Isa Molde contributed 17 points, all on attacks, Des Cheng added 14 points, and Kat Tolentino chipped in 10 points.

Coach Dante Alinsunurin emphasized the team's resilience and the positive environment where teammates can adjust and deliver.

Vanie Gandler paced Cignal with 15 points, while their reinforcement Eva Chantava struggled with 10 points in her debut.
