Carlos Yulo qualifies for multiple finals in Paris Olympics

Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo is competing in his second consecutive Olympic Games in Paris, aiming for an improved performance after narrowly missing medals in the Tokyo Olympics.

He qualified for the Paris Olympics as the highest-ranked eligible athlete in floor exercise from the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

Yulo is the sole male representative in the Philippine gymnastics delegation.

Following the conclusion of the men's artistic gymnastics qualification, Yulo has advanced to the individual all-around, floor exercise, and vault finals.

He secured his spot in the finals by placing second in floor exercise with 14.766 points, sixth in vault with an average of 14.683 points, and ninth in the all-around with a total of 83.631 points.
