Butuan City reported the highest number of new cases with 20, followed by Surigao City with three.

Of the 34 new cases, 27 are asymptomatic and seven exhibit mild symptoms.

All newly confirmed cases are admitted and isolated in designated quarantine facilities for monitoring.

DOH-13 Regional Director Jose Llacuna Jr. urged the public to adhere to isolation and quarantine protocols to prevent further spread of the infection.

He also appealed for cooperation from LSIs, ROFs, and those who tested positive in rapid tests with their respective LGUs' protocols.

Individuals who go out for essential services are reminded to consistently follow precautionary measures and monitor their health.
