Brownlee to play despite fatigue and asthma

Justin Brownlee is determined to play with maximum effort, even without rest, to help Barangay Ginebra secure a victory against TNT Tropang Giga in the PBA Commissioner's Cup finals.

He is willing to put in extra work to replicate their Game 2 win, where he scored 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds in over 45 minutes of play.

Despite potential fatigue and aches common in the finals, Brownlee emphasized the importance of pushing through physical challenges, stating "Everybody gets a little fatigued and maybe has some aches and pains, but you can't really think about those things. You just got to push through it."

Ginebra head coach Tim Cone revealed that Brownlee had been battling asthma and was sick the whole week leading up to Game 2.

Despite his health issues, Brownlee's significant performance in Game 2 was crucial for Ginebra's victory.

Game 3 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for Wednesday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.
