BOC establishes One-Stop-Shop for faster import of emergency goods

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) at NAIA has established a One-Stop-Shop (OSS) to speed up the importation of emergency goods, especially Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The OSS is designed to help stakeholders by expediting the release of imported relief goods, articles, equipment, and medical supplies intended as donations.

This initiative will also address all inquiries and concerns related to the importation of PPE and other essential emergency items.

Furthermore, the OSS will coordinate with other government agencies for the processing of donated relief goods and emergency medical equipment.

BOC Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero previously directed the swift release of medical and PPE shipments crucial for containing the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
