BBM-Sara HQ closes after 68 COVID-19 cases

The headquarters of the Bongbong-Marcos and Sara Duterte tandem for Eleksyon 2022 has temporarily closed for another week after 68 staff members tested positive for COVID-19.

The BBM-Sara Uniteam headquarters in Mandaluyong City initially went into lockdown last week when over 30 staff members and volunteers initially tested positive.

Further RT-PCR testing confirmed that 68 staff members contracted the virus.

All employees have been sent home except for a skeletal force tasked with preparing and distributing relief goods for Typhoon Odette victims.

Marcos Jr.'s spokesperson, Atty. Vic Rodriguez, was among those who tested positive.

Marcos Jr. himself has gone into isolation after being exposed to his spokesperson and chief security.

Due to not feeling well, Marcos Jr. was unable to attend a disqualification case hearing before the Commission on Elections on Friday.
