BARMM distributes relief goods to over 14,000 households

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has distributed relief goods to 5,180 households in 12 barangays of Pigcawayan, North Cotabato, as part of its READI program on April 2.

A second relief distribution on April 5 provided 9,051 packages to 13 barangays in Midsayap, North Cotabato.

Each family received 10 kilos of rice, six cans of sardines, six cans of corned beef, 10 coffee sachets, and bath soaps.

Boxes of paracetamol were also given to health centers in Midsayap, and packs of vegetable seeds were distributed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Agrarian Reform.

This marks the second leg of the READI program's operations for all 63 villages in North Cotabato that opted to be included in BARMM.

Remaining relief goods are being repacked for dispersal to 38 villages in Pikit, Kabacan, Carmen, and Aleosan.

These distributions are supplementary to aid provided by BARMM's Ministry of Social Services and Health Ministry.
