BARMM Covid-19 recovery rate climbs to 34%

The Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has seen its Covid-19 recovery rate increase to 34 percent as of Sunday.

This improvement is attributed to 20 new recoveries reported, raising the total number of individuals who have overcome the virus to 153 out of 448 confirmed cases.

Despite the rising number of positive cases, the health ministry noted the encouraging trend in recoveries.

The region has recorded 19 new Covid-19 cases and one new fatality, bringing the total death toll to nine.

Currently, 286 confirmed Covid-19 patients are admitted in various hospitals and isolation centers across the region.

The latest fatality was a locally stranded individual from Tawi-Tawi, while Lanao del Sur and Marawi City reported no new cases on Sunday.
