Barangay Ginebra returns to PBA action aiming for playoff improvement

Barangay Ginebra, led by coach Tim Cone, returns to PBA action on Wednesday, December 10, aiming to improve their playoff standing after national team commitments.

Cone and several key players, including Scottie Thompson, RJ Abarrientos, and Japeth Aguilar, rejoin the Gin Kings after representing Gilas Pilipinas in the FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.

The team had secured a crucial win against Phoenix before their Gilas duties, which they hope to build on.

Ginebra currently holds a 3-4 record and is competing for a Top 4 finish to secure a twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals.

They will face the struggling Blackwater Bossing at 7:30 p.m. following the Meralco vs. Terrafirma game.
