Baguio police arrest 42 for violating ECQ curfew

The Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) arrested 42 individuals for violating enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) measures, specifically curfew hours.

These unauthorized persons outside residence (UPORs) were apprehended in 18 different areas across the city.

Among those caught were minors and a Korean national, with two individuals detained for being under the influence of alcohol.

Violators who resisted arrest were handcuffed.

They were taken to holding areas for six hours, where they received lectures on ECQ rules and had mugshots taken.

BCPO chief Allen Rae Co stated that while lectures and warnings were given, cases may still be filed against the violators once the ECQ is lifted.
