Atong Ang children deny involvement in missing sabungeros case

The children of businessman Charlie "Atong" Ang have denied involvement in the disappearance of the missing sabungeros, filing counter-affidavits before the Department of Justice (DOJ).

Their lawyer, Lorna Kapunan, stated that the accusations from whistleblower Julie Patidongan are baseless and uncorroborated, lacking the necessary evidence for the case to proceed.

Kapunan pointed out that Patidongan is also a respondent in the case and suggested his testimony is an attempt to shift blame.

The Ang siblings assert that the accusations against them lack credible evidence and are solely based on Patidongan's testimony.

The Ang family is confident that the DOJ will dismiss the baseless claims due to lack of evidence and believes in due process and the pursuit of truth.
