Ateneo Blue Eagles are experiencing their worst start ever in the Final Four era of the UAAP men's basketball tournament with a 1-6 record.

Head coach Tab Baldwin acknowledges the unprecedented nature of their current standing but emphasizes that the team must move past it.

Baldwin cited the youth and inexperience of his players as potential factors, but quickly dismissed them as excuses.

He stressed that the players have had enough time to gain experience and must now perform at a higher level.

Baldwin also pointed out that other young teams in the league are performing better than Ateneo.
