Marcos Jr.-backed senatorial slate intensifies campaign

Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the senatorial slate backed by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., is intensifying its campaign efforts nationwide.

Navotas City Rep. Toby Tiangco, the slate's campaign manager, reported a strong reception in their initial sorties across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The group is set to hold a rally in San Jose del Monte City on February 28, marking the culmination of their month-long campaigning.

Tiangco expressed confidence in the momentum, stating that Filipinos desire leaders who will foster stability, continuity, and progress.

The Alyansa ticket includes notable figures such as former DILG Secretary Benhur Abalos, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, Senators Ramon Revilla Jr., Pia Cayetano, Lito Lapid, Imee Marcos, and Francis Tolentino, as well as former Senators Panfilo Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, and Vicente Sotto III, ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo, and House Deputy Speaker Camille Villar.

Following their initial stops in cities like Laoag, Iloilo, and Pasay, the slate plans further campaign activities in March across Camarines Sur, Leyte, Pampanga, Cavite, and Laguna.
