AirAsia cancels flights to China, HK, Taiwan due to nCoV

AirAsia has announced the cancellation of all its flights connecting the Philippines to China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macao.

This decision aligns with the Philippine government's travel restrictions due to the novel coronavirus (nCoV) outbreak.

Flights to and from mainland Chinese cities like Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Shanghai, as well as Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan (Taipei and Kaohsiung), have been suspended until further notice.

Guests with existing bookings to these affected regions can opt for a credit account or a full refund until March 28, 2020.

Alternatively, passengers can move their flight to a new travel date on the same route within 30 calendar days starting March 29, 2020, without additional cost, subject to seat availability.
